Our Check-in
Great that you’re going boating!

The boat is located at the Oosterkade in Utrecht. Please check in 10 minutes before departure. At that time, you’ll receive an introduction to the electric boat, the boating rules, and the suggested route.

The maximum speed on the water is 5 km/h — which is also the speed of the boat. The boating rules are similar to traffic rules: keep to the right, give way to larger boats (including pleasure boats), and watch out for canoes. It’s a friendly atmosphere on the water — people often greet each other as they pass by.

The route you can take is like a '8', going to the left after the bridge and returning via the Oude Gracht. Leaving this canal you cruise to the left to visit the East part of centre. See the plan of Utrecht. ou may moor along the Singel around the city, especially if there’s a jetty available. On the Oude Gracht, however, mooring is generally not allowed.

Along the route, you’ll find several places to grab a drink or some food — see this link.
If you turn left after the bridge and enter the Oude Gracht at the Weerdsluis, you’ll eventually return here (Ledig Erf / Oosterkade) and can continue left towards the Maliebaan. This way, you’ll essentially sail in a figure-eight. You can download the route map here.
