We had an incredible experience renting a boat with Canal Cruising Utrecht. The fact that the boat is fully electric is a game-changer—it was incredibly quiet, allowing us to relax completely, chat without raising our voices, and truly enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the canals.
The service from the staff was absolutely flawless. From the easy booking to the warm welcome and helpful instructions before we set off, the team went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for a perfect day on the water. Renting from Canal Cruising Utrecht / Jeffrey was the absolute highlight of our time in the city. The electric boat was fantastic—so smooth and incredibly quiet, which made cruising down the canals feel like a luxury experience.

Eine Bootsfahrt in Utrecht ist etwas ganz Besonderes. Die jahrhundertealten Grachten, die Werftkeller, die fast das Wasser berühren, das Grün entlang der Kais – diese Stadt lernt man nur vom Boot aus richtig kennen.
Für uns als Familie war Bootfahren schon immer ein Moment der Ruhe und des Glücks: gemeinsam treiben, dem Alltag entfliehen, gute Gespräche und Lachen genießen. Ein Happen essen, ein Drink, die untergehende Sonne – das macht jeden Tag zu einem schönen Tag. Aus dieser Liebe zum Bootfahren – und zu unserer Stadt – entstand die Idee. Kein Businessplan, keine Kalkulationstabelle. Nur der einfache Wunsch, etwas Schönes zu teilen.
Wir sind eine kleine Familie, die schöne Momente mit netten Menschen genießt – und wir lieben Utrecht. Deshalb haben wir beschlossen, unser eigenes Boot anzubieten: Rebel Rebel, benannt nach David Bowie. Kein Produkt, sondern eine Erweiterung dessen, wie wir selbst gerne auf den Kanälen fahren: ruhig, aufmerksam und gemeinsam.
Rebel Rebel ist ein leises Elektroboot – ausgestattet mit einer gut gefüllten Kühlbox, Kinderschwimmwesten, einem Online-Guide zur Stadterkundung vom Wasser aus und natürlich einem fröhlichen Actionfoto eurer Gruppe auf dem Boot. Und jetzt ist auch Talk Talk bereit – für neue kleine Abenteuer. Aber es fühlt sich noch nicht an, als würden wir „Boote mieten“. Wir hoffen, es ist mehr als das.
Es ist ein kleines Stück von uns, das wir weitergeben dürfen – damit Sie spüren können, was wir so oft tun: Freiheit, Verbundenheit und ein paar Stunden völlige Entspannung vom Alltag. Wir wünschen Ihnen eine wundervolle Zeit auf dem Wasser, miteinander. Vielleicht zum Lachen, Reden oder einfach nur zum Genießen der Stille. Genau darum geht es hier.
